There are so many places to visit in Tokyo that it was extremely difficult to narrow my choices down to three. However, here are my top 3 things to do in Tokyo:
1. Visit Asakusa

Asakusa is a district in Tokyo where you find the very famous Buddhist temple called Sensoji . When approaching the temple, you will be welcomed by countless food and souvenier shops. This is a great place to experience the traditional Japanese culture in the modern Tokyo.
2. Eat Sushi at Tsukiji Fish Market

If you are a sushi lover like me, this is a must-visit when you are in Tokyo. Tsukiji Fish market is the biggest fish and seafood market in the world. These highest quality fish are bought and distributed to all over the world.
Every time I’m in Tokyo, I wake up super early before 5 am to line up and eat the freshest sushi in the world. Even if you are not a sushi fan, there are a lot more to eat other than sushi so please make sure to visit this place when you are in Tokyo.
3. Stay at Ryokan (with hot spring)

Ryokan is a traditional Japanese inn where travelers can truly experience the Japanese culture and enjoy the comforts of Japanese hospitality. Ryokan itself is becoming a tourist attraction as you can enjoy Japanese hot spring baths, kaiseki ryori (multi-course Japanese style haute cuisine), and futon bed spread out over the tatami mats.
